Tenegar | Akaian | Chay | Shiæda | Szerathi | Aszerai

Some of the race mechanics have been altered from the standard rules to suit the nature of the game. While Tenegar, Akaian and Chay are all functionally human, they have strong cultural differences that have bestowed specific proficiencies in addition to (or in lieu of) the normal human racial traits.

Human (Tenegar)

Ability Score Increase: Three of your ability scores increase by 1.
Age: Tenegar reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.
Size: Tenegar are tall and lanky, averaging between 5’8" and 6’4". Your size is Medium.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Skill Versatility: You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.
Feat: You gain one feat of your choice.
Tool Proficiency: You gain proficiency with any one set of artisan’s tools of your choice.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Tenegar and Common.


Human (Akaian)

Ability Score Increase: Three of your ability scores increase by 1.
Age: Akaians reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.
Size: Akaians are tall and slender, averaging between 5’6" and 6’2". Your size is Medium.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Skill Versatility: You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.
Feat: You gain one feat of your choice.
Tool Proficiency: You gain proficiency with one of the following: leatherworker’s tools, potter’s tools, smith’s tools, weaver’s tools, woodcarver’s tools, or a herbalism kit.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common. Different communities often have their own dialect of Common, but can speak with each other and outsiders with only minor misunderstandings.


Human (Chay)

Ability Score Increase: Three of your ability scores increase by 1.
Age: Chay reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.
Size: Chay are small of stature, averaging between 5’3" and 5’8". Your size is Medium.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Skill Versatility: You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.
Feat: You gain one feat of your choice.
Tool Proficiency: You gain proficiency with one of the following: carpenter’s tools, cook’s utensils, glassblower’s tools, jeweler’s tools, smith’s tools, weaver’s tools or one type of musical instrument.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Chay and Common.


Human (Shiæda)

Ability Score Increase: Three of your ability scores increase by 1.
Age: Shiæda reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.
Size: Shiæda are large and broad folk, averaging between 6–7". Your size is Medium.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Resilience: Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a level.
Feat: You gain one feat of your choice.
Tool Proficiency: You gain proficiency with one of the following: brewer’s supplies, cooking utensils, leatherworking tools, smith’s tools or woodcarving tools.
Languages: You can speak Common. The Shiæda have no written form of their native dialect. They may learn to read and write Common via the usual means of learning a new language, but at one third the normal cost and time.


Szerathi (Elf)

Ability Score Increase: Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age: Although the Szerathi reach physical maturity at the age of 16, their understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience, and they usually do not claim adulthood until the age of 30. Szerathi can live to be up to 400 years old.
Size: Szerathi are tall and slight of build. They average between 5’6" and 6’6", but weigh roughly two thirds that of a human of their size. Your size is Medium.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Darkvision: You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Keen Senses: You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
Fey Ancestry: You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
Mask of the Wild: You can attempt to hide even when you are only lightly obscured by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, and other natural phenomena.
Tool Proficiency: You gain proficiency with water vehicles.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Elvish.


Aszerai (Half-Elf)
Ability Score Increase: Your Charisma score increases by 2, and two other ability scores of your choice increase by 1.
Age: Half-elves mature at the same rate humans do. They live much longer than humans, however, often exceeding 200 years.
Size: Half-elves vary in size and build; use the averages for the human parent, but they weigh about three quarters what a human of their size would weigh. Your size is Medium.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision: You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Fey Ancestry: You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
Skill Versatility: You gain proficiency in two skills of your choice.
Tool Proficiency: You gain proficiency in either water vehicles or one tool proficiency chosen from the appropriate Human list.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language from the following: Chay, Elvish or Tenegar.
